Year 5 Pedestrian Training

On Tuesday 13th October our Year 5 pupils took part in pedestrian training which was delivered by staff from the London Borough of Hillingdon. This is part of the School’s efforts to promote and encourage road safety, and active and sustainable travel. During the session, pupils learnt how to identify safe places to cross the road, the importance of staying alert to traffic, and how to make sensible decisions when travelling independently. They were given the opportunity to practise these skills in real-life situations under the guidance of experienced trainers. We would like to thank the London Borough of Hillingdon staff for delivering such an informative and valuable session.
