Hewens Primary is part of the family of schools sponsored by The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust. The Trust has a proven track record of success and is responsible for a dramatic upturn in academic achievement locally. In 2018 Hewens Primary school was in the top 4% of schools in the country for its phonics results, and number 1 in Hillingdon for pupil progress in writing at Key Stage Two. It continues to support pupils in achieving well above local and national averages for progress across all key stages.
Hewens Primary has quickly built a reputation which stems from a very caring ethos, being held in high regard by parents, guardians and carers.

The diverse staff mirror the diverse school community and their ability to communicate effectively with the parents is a key strength.
Hewens provides wrap around care in its fullest sense: breakfast club, after school clubs, holiday workshops, fun clubs, transport to and from the ‘Little Marvels Nursery’ all help the working and other parents as well as the children.
The school provides a wealth of enrichment for children and their parents. The school has ‘Literacy Ambassadors, who invite the parents to the ‘Pinning Ceremony,’. Parents are invited to watch the decoration of the school’s Christmas Tree. Celebrations are an intrinsic part of the Hewens ‘ethos.
