Pupil Presentations

We are delighted to share some of the wonderful learning that has been taking place in Year 1 this term. Recently, the pupils have been enjoying the story ‘The Odd Egg’ by Emily Gravett. As part of our topic work, the children carried out research into different types of eggs and the birds they belong to. They showed great curiosity and enthusiasm while exploring fascinating facts about birds and their habitats. Following their research, the pupils confidently delivered short oral presentations to their peers, sharing what they had discovered. We were very impressed with their speaking skills, as well as their ability to listen respectfully to one another. To conclude their learning, the pupils created display work showcasing their findings. Their work demonstrates creativity, effort, and a growing understanding of the natural world. We are very proud of all the pupils for their hard work and enthusiasm throughout this project.
