Duckling Adventure

Over the past ten days, Reception pupils at Hewens Primary have enjoyed an exciting hands on learning experience as they cared for five adorable ducklings as part of their Watch Them Grow topic. This wonderful project allowed pupils to observe the duckling life cycle up close, deepening their understanding of how living things grow and change over time. Through this activity, pupils successfully met their Early Learning Goal for Understanding the World. It has been a memorable and engaging way to conclude the Spring Term, and the pupils thoroughly enjoyed watching the ducklings develop each day.
