Whole School Post-Box Competition
Pupils are being asked to create their own black post-box to honour a famous Black British person who inspires them. They could make the post-box out of a cardboard box or design it on paper. On the post box, they should include:
• The name of the person who inspires them
• Information about their life and achievements
• The reasons why they are an inspiration to them.
Some suggested personalities are: Benjamin Zephaniah, John Barnes, Marcus Rashford, Mo Farah, Idris Elba, Dele Alli, Alex Scott, Alesha Dixon, Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Nicola Adams. The deadline for this post-box entry is Wednesday 20th October.
We will end the month’s celebrations by hosting an Alliance Quiz Competition for Years 1 to 6. Please encourage your child to participate in the activities and raise awareness of Black History Month.
