Pinning Ceremony 22/11/21

On Friday 5th November, pupils from Hewens Primary School were recognised and celebrated for their appointed leadership positions at the annual Pinning Ceremony. Pupils were honoured for their judicious choices, studious characters and continuous efforts within the School by having their respective badges pinned on their blazers by their parents, guardians and carers, making this auspicious event all the more significant!

The ceremony was graced by the Lead Safeguarding Officer, Carla Jorsling-Thomas who encouraged the leaders to make a difference as the best way to convince other people is to lead by example. Pupils across the School showcased their talents through singing and dancing which had families marvelling at the splendour of the event. Congratulations to Hewens Primary’s School Leaders! You have shown great pride in the School’s ethos by adhering to the 6 Rs and it is a privilege to have outstanding pupils like you representing our school!
