Debate Competitions 22/03/21

Classes in Years 4, 5, 6 participated in a debating competition and challenged each other’s moot points on arguments presented based on the following:

• Year 4 - Technology will diminish social interactions and reduce human activities.
• Year 5 - Technology is and will play a prime role in Medical Science.
• Year 6 - Technology in the future will cause more problems than solutions.

Each year group decided which class will present arguments ‘for’ and ‘against’ the moot points and it was a challenge for the judges to declare a winner from all the year groups but more so, from the Year 6 debate which ended in a tie. 

Congratulations to Ash, Rowan, Oak and Chestnut who came out as the winners and the pupils who were awarded ‘Best Speaker’ of the debate!
